It seems when law enforcement wants to frame someone all    
they have to do is pass along some of that confidential     
information you mentioned to some informant.                
                                                            
For example, they want to "get" someone for his political   
views.  So they blackmail someone into becoming an informant
against him (as they tried to do to Randy Weaver) and give  
him the secret informantion to make him seem bonafide, and  
no-one, especially defense lawyers are any the wiser.       
What can be done to keep law enforcement honest?

     I am sorry, but I really don't agree with your         
asumption that law enforcement is out to get people for     
their political views.  I used to think that only left-wing 
liberals hated law enforcement...but I guess the hate has

Where there's SMOKE there's FIRE.                           
                                                            
First the left discovers the truth about law enforcement:   
COINTELPRO; Chicago Police Riot; Rodney King; Mark Furhman. 
                                                            
Then the right: Waco; Ruby Ridge.                           
                                                            
Lori, how can you NOT agree especially with the example I   
used, Randy Weaver?  Thats been in the news a lot lately.   
(Good thing for the FBI there still is a Fifth Amendment.)  
                                                            
What was Weaver targeted for if NOT his political beliefs?
